By visiting ImagineU, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue ImagineU Children’s Museum (ImagineU) or its affiliated entities, directors, board members, employees, staff, members, volunteers, vendors, agents, representatives, attorneys, predecessors, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any loss, damage, claim, or demand arising from any injury incurred while visiting ImagineU or participating in any ImagineU activity, whether or not caused by the negligence of the Releasees. You also agree to indemnify and hold harmless ImagineU and the Releasees against any and all claims, actions, or lawsuits for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise, brought by you or anyone on your behalf, including any attorney fees, medical bills, or related costs arising from your visit to ImagineU or participation in any ImagineU activity.

General Code of Conduct

  • Be kind. Choose joy. Respect others.

    • Be kind and courteous. Share the museum with respect for other guests, families, and ImagineU team members.

    • Assume good intentions. Children are learning through play, and sometimes another child's play may unintentionally interfere with your child's experience. Model patience, understanding, and positive behavior.

    • Respect other families. Please do not touch, discipline, or verbally reprimand a child from another family. If you have a concern, notify an ImagineU team member.

    • Respect our team. All guests must follow museum safety policies, posted rules, and staff instructions. Abusive, demeaning, threatening, foul, discriminatory, or harassing language or behavior will not be tolerated.

    • Personal belongings. ImagineU is not responsible for personal items brought into the museum, including lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

    • Safety comes first. ImagineU reserves the right to prohibit any activity determined to be unsafe, harmful, inappropriate, or disruptive.

    • Family-Friendly Attire. ImagineU is a family-friendly environment. Clothing displaying sexually explicit images or language, profanity, or threatening or hateful messages is not permitted. Guests wearing inappropriate attire may be asked to cover or change the item to continue their visit.

  • Guests who do not follow museum policies may be asked to leave immediately and may have their daily admission or membership revoked without a refund, consistent with applicable law.

Guest Waivers

  • All guests, including adults and children, must have a completed guest waiver before entering ImagineU Children's Museum.

    We encourage families to complete their waivers online before arriving to help make check-in quick and easy.

Supervision & FAMILY PLAY

  • ImagineU is designed for children and their grown-ups to play together!

    • Adult supervision is required. Children of all ages must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible parent or caregiver at all times, both indoors and outdoors.

    • Stay close to your children. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children's behavior, safety, and appropriate use of museum exhibits.

    • Care for our museum. Parents and caregivers are responsible for damage or broken items caused by members of their party.

    • Play together! We encourage families to limit cell phone and electronic device use and enjoy exploring together.

    • No child drop-offs. Children may not be left at ImagineU without a responsible adult, even for a short period.

    • Unattended children. If a child is found without appropriate adult supervision, ImagineU staff will immediately work to locate the responsible adult. Authorities may be contacted when necessary to protect the child's safety.

    ImagineU team members are here to support a wonderful guest experience, but they do not provide individual childcare or supervision.

Service Animals

  • ImagineU welcomes service animals in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

    • Service animals are welcome. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.

    • No pets. Pets, emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy animals are not permitted unless otherwise required by law.

    • Handler responsibility. Service animals must remain under their handler's control, be housebroken, and follow applicable safety requirements.

ADULT VISITORS & MUSEUM ACCESS

  • The safety of children is our highest priority.

    ImagineU is a children's museum designed primarily for children and families. To maintain a safe environment, we have specific procedures for adults entering the museum.

    • Adults visiting with children. Adults are welcome when accompanying children as parents, caregivers, family members, or authorized guests.

    • Adults joining a family. Adults arriving separately must identify the family or group they are joining. ImagineU staff will verify the connection before allowing entry.

    • Adults visiting alone. Adults who are not accompanying or joining a child must check in with the Front Desk before entering museum exhibit areas. Access may be available for approved visits, business purposes, or other authorized activities.

    • Business visitors. Vendors, contractors, meeting attendees, and other business visitors must check in at the Front Desk upon arrival.

    • Restroom access. Museum restrooms are reserved for admitted guests and authorized visitors. We do not accommodate restroom-only visits from the general public.

Behavior & exhibit safety

  • Explore freely. Play safely. Treat ImagineU well.

    • Play safely. Roughhousing, aggressive play, unsafe climbing, and disruptive, disrespectful, or abusive behavior are not permitted.

    • Use exhibits as intended. Treat equipment, exhibits, and play materials with care so everyone can enjoy them.

    • Follow safety guidelines. Observe posted instructions, age recommendations, and directions from ImagineU staff.

    • Cleanup is part of play! Please help your child return toys and materials to their proper places before moving to another exhibit. This allows the next child to enjoy a fresh play space.

    • Shoes are required. Shoes must be worn in all areas of the museum at all times.

    • Stay involved. Parents and caregivers should remain close to their children and assist with play activities when appropriate.

    • Report concerns. Notify an ImagineU team member if you notice damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spills, or an injury.

    • Temporary closures. ImagineU may close exhibits or restrict activities for cleaning, maintenance, weather, or safety reasons.

    ImagineU reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service or access, both onsite and online, to individuals who disregard museum policies or demonstrate disrespectful, threatening, or unsafe behavior toward guests, staff, exhibits, or property, consistent with applicable law.

Photography & Video

  • We love seeing families create special memories at ImagineU!

    • Museum photography. By entering ImagineU, guests acknowledge that museum photography, video, or audio recording may occur and that images or recordings may be used for museum marketing and promotional purposes without compensation, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.

    • Marketing purposes. Museum photography and video are used for ImagineU marketing and promotional purposes.

    • Prefer not to be photographed? Please notify an ImagineU team member when you arrive so we can make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.

    • Personal photography. Photos and videos are welcome, but please respect the privacy of other families. Avoid photographing or recording children outside your group without permission.

    • Respect the experience. Photography and recording must not interfere with the safety, privacy, or enjoyment of other guests.


    Food & beverages

  • Help us keep our exhibits clean, safe, and ready for imaginative play!

    • Designated eating areas. Light snacks and beverages may be enjoyed at designated eating tables only.

    • No food in exhibits. Food, snacks, and beverages are not permitted in exhibit spaces.

    • No outside coolers. Ice chests and coolers are not permitted during regular museum admission.

    • Personal lunchboxes are welcome.

    • Clean up after your family. Please dispose of trash in the appropriate receptacles.

    • Special events. Birthday parties and private rentals may have additional food and beverage guidelines.

    Sick Policy

  • Help us keep ImagineU a healthy place to play!

    • Stay home when sick. Please visit another day if you or your child are ill.

    • Protect others. Guests showing signs of illness that may pose a health risk to others may be asked to leave and return when they are feeling better.

    • Practice good hygiene. Wash or sanitize hands regularly, especially before eating and after restroom visits.

    • Report health concerns. Notify an ImagineU team member immediately if there is a bodily fluid spill or other health concern.

    We appreciate your help protecting our youngest visitors and their families.

Respectful Environment & Prohibited Substances

ImagineU is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and family-friendly environment.

  • The following are prohibited on ImagineU property, including the parking lot:

    • Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, and other tobacco products.

    • Vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes or vape pens.

    • Marijuana, cannabis products, and related smoking or vaping paraphernalia.

    • Illegal drug use or possession.

    • Open alcohol containers or consumption of alcohol during regular museum operations.

    • Firearms, knives intended as weapons, and other weapons, subject to applicable law.

Private Event Exception: Alcohol may be permitted during approved private museum rentals with advance authorization and additional security requirements. All applicable laws and event requirements must be followed.

ImagineU reserves the right to address conduct or conditions that interfere with the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of other guests. This may include confrontational behavior, impairment, or strong odors from smoke, cannabis, or other substances that materially disrupt the museum environment.

When concerns arise, ImagineU staff may provide direction, request changes in behavior, or ask individuals to leave when appropriate, consistent with applicable law and disability accommodation requirements.

Museum Safety & Guest Check-In

  • A safe visit starts with a proper check-in!

    • Check in first. All guests must check in at the Front Desk before entering the museum.

    • Guest waivers are required. All guests must have a completed waiver before entering.

    • Follow staff instructions. Guests must follow directions from ImagineU team members during emergencies, evacuations, or other safety situations.

    • Keep pathways clear. Entrances, exits, walkways, and emergency access areas must remain accessible.

    • Lost child? Notify an ImagineU team member immediately if you become separated from your child.

    • Report safety concerns. Notify an ImagineU team member immediately about injuries, suspicious activity, or other safety concerns.

    • Respect restricted areas. Museum admission does not authorize access to staff-only, restricted, or closed areas.

Birthday Parties, Private Rentals & Special Events

  • ImagineU hosts birthday parties, field trips, private museum rentals, and special events throughout the year.

    These experiences may have additional requirements related to supervision, guest counts, waivers, food, decorations, rental timing, deposits, and event access.

Accessibility & Age-Appropriate Play

  • ImagineU is designed primarily for children ages 8 and under, with exhibits and equipment created for their physical size and developmental needs.

    • Age-Appropriate Play. ImagineU welcomes guests of all abilities. However, our exhibits and play equipment are designed primarily for children ages 8 and under and may not be appropriate for adult use, regardless of developmental age. All guests must follow exhibit safety guidelines.
