Welcome to ImagineU Children’s Museum!

By visiting ImagineU you agree to release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue ImagineU Children’s Museum (ImagineU) or its affiliated entities, directors, board members, employees, staff, members, volunteers, vendors, agents, representatives, attorneys, predecessors, successors and assigns (collectively, “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands, for any and all injuries incurred while visiting ImagineU or participating in any ImagineU activity, whether or not caused by the negligence of the Releasees. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless ImagineU and the Releasees against any and all claims, causes of action or lawsuits, for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by you or anyone on your behalf, including any attorneys’ fees or related costs or medical bills or costs which may arise related to your visit to ImagineU or participation in any ImagineU activity.


General Code of Conduct

  • Be kind. Share the space by being respectful and courteous to others around you. Please do not touch or verbally reprimand a child from another family.

  • ImagineU is not responsible for personal items brought into the museum and is not responsible for loss or damage of belongings. 

  • Assume good intentions. Model positive behaviors and understand that sometimes another child’s play may unintentionally interfere with your child’s play. 

  • All guests must comply with safety policies and staff instructions. We expect guests to respect ImagineU staff and other visitors. ImagineU will not tolerate inappropriate behavior or abusive, demeaning, foul, or harassing language. Failure to comply with these policies may result in immediate removal from campus/and or revocation of membership/daily admission without refund. 

  • No alcohol, smoking, tobacco or cannabis product of any kind are permitted on ImagineU property. Use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted on ImagineU property. 

  • Firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind are prohibited. 

  • We reserve the right to prohibit any guest activity that we determine may be harmful or disruptive at any time. 


Supervision

  • Parents/caregivers are responsible for the behavior of their children at all times (and all ages) and will be held liable for any damage/broken items their party causes while in the museum. 

  • Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all times indoors and outdoors while visiting the museum. 

  • ImagineU promotes families PLAYing together. Please limit your cell phone use and other electronic devices while enjoying the museum to maximize the experience for you and your child.

  • Child drop-offs are NOT permitted. Any child not accompanied by an adult for any amount of time will be deemed “abandoned” by the ImagineU staff and authorities will be notified. 

Service Animals

  • No dogs or pets are allowed at ImagineU. Only trained ADA service animals that are individually trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability. Emotional support or “comfort animals” and “therapy animals” are not service animals, and are not recognized by ADA.

unaccompanied adults

  • No adult may visit the museum unless accompanied by a child or staff member. 

  • Business visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival.

BEHAVIOR

  • Rough-housing with exhibits and/or disruptive, disrespectful, or abusive behavior is NOT permitted.

  • Treat ImagineU well. Use equipment and exhibits safely and appropriately so that all ImagineU guests can enjoy them.

  • Clean up is a part of play. Cleaning up each play area as your child finishes allows the next child to enjoy a fresh exhibit.

  • Shoes must be worn in all areas of the museum at all times. 

  • ImagineU reserves the right to refuse service and/or access, onsite and online, to any individuals disregarding ImagineU policies or disrespectful of ImagineU guests, staff, exhibits or property.

  • Parents/caregivers please stay close to your children and use play elements only as intended. Ask a staff person for guidance, if needed. ImagineU Children’s Museum is not responsible for injuries that occur on campus.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Entry to ImagineU constitutes consent for the museum to photograph, video, or record your image and voice for promotional or other museum purposes without compensation. 

  • Photography/video is used for museum Marketing purposes ONLY. 

  • Please inform ImagineU staff if you prefer not to be photographed.


    FOOD

  • Light snacks and beverages must be consumed at the designated tables only.

  • Food/snacks are not permitted in the exhibit spaces at any time.

  • Outside ice chests are not permitted. Personal lunchboxes are allowed. 


    Sick Policy

  • Stay home if you are ill. For the safety of our guests individuals showing signs of illness will be asked to leave and visit at another time.
